Playbook: Figuring out software versions

What version is the software you're looking at?

  • Look for an "about" button, frequently on the homepage or login page of the application.

  • Look for a copyright date toward the bottom of the application or on the "About" page; it will sometimes give you a year or date you can align with the software version.

  • Look for "Help" or "Support" buttons - even if the link goes to the software support site, it will sometimes link to support specific to the version of software that is installed.
